Mural is partnering with a global industrial equipment manufacturer to place a Hydraulics and Lubrication Maintenance Technician at a brand-new, world-class steel mill currently entering commissioning in Apple Grove, West Virginia. This is a direct hire position with a globally recognized OEM -- not a short-term contract. The facility is one of the largest and most advanced new steel mill investments in the United States, and our client needs experienced maintenance technicians to support their equipment through commissioning, ramp-up, and long-term operations.

What you will be doing

You will install, inspect, repair, adjust, and maintain all hydraulic and lubrication systems on heavy industrial rolling mill equipment. This includes hydraulic power units (HPUs), servo and proportional valve circuits, hydraulic cylinders and accumulators, high-pressure piping and fittings, centralized lubrication systems for gearboxes and roll bearings, lubrication filter skids and distribution manifolds, and hydraulic fluid quality and cleanliness management. You will read hydraulic schematics, trace circuit faults, and perform both planned preventive maintenance and emergency troubleshooting
