Product Owner 

Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) in the North Zone of Mexico City, near Toreo Parque Central. About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic AI & P&L Management: Own the product vision for advanced analytics, transforming complex AI initiatives into governable, scalable business bets while maintaining full accountability for the digital/e-commerce P&L.
  • Backlog & Agile Leadership: Define, refine, and prioritize the Product Backlog (Epics and detailed User Stories) to ensure maximum ROI, and lead core Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Negotiate priorities and bridge the gap between technical data engineering teams and business executives to ensure clear communication of product features and roadmap direction.

Must-have Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in end-to-end product delivery as a Product Owner, specifically within data-driven, digital, or e-commerce environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • English Level: Advanced/Fluent English proficiency to effectively communicate and negotiate across global technical and business teams.
  • Certifications: Active Certified Product Owner credential (CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent) is strictly required.
  • Methodology & Core Tools: Deep, hands-on expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and extensive experience managing workflows in Jira and Confluence.
  • Technical Fluency: Strong foundation in advanced analytics, customer database metrics, SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

Nice-to-have:

  • AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
  • Basic hands-on knowledge of Python and Databricks.
