Senior C++ Desktop Applications Developer
The Senior C++ Desktop Applications Developer is a core technical leader within the Product Development Team. Working closely with the Product Owner and R&D leadership, you will architect, modernize, and implement high-impact software solutions. You are expected to design and implement robust solutions that result in high quality, well-documented, and unit-testable source code while setting the standard for project coding practices.
You will lead the modernization of legacy user interface applications and drive desktop application quality and testing frameworks. Beyond day-to-day development, you will provide accurate estimation and risk assessments, lead R&D improvement initiatives, and mentor cross-functional team members. You will also liaise across teams—including Technical Support, QA, and Product Line Management—to drive root cause analysis and resolve complex performance issues.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Modernization & UI Architecture: Lead the architectural effort to modernize legacy user interface (UI) applications, transitioning older user interfaces to scalable, modern designs.
- Desktop Application Engineering: Architect, maintain, and enhance desktop applications for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Establish test strategies, write component unit test plans, and drive software testing proces
