Line Cook (Part Time)- Hotel Peter and Paul

About the role

The Elysian Bar is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Elysian Bar. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to menu specifications in a timely manner. Your culinary talents and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure that food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized.
• Monitor food inventory levels and replenish items as needed.
• Assist with the receiving and storage of deliveries.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to maintain menu consistency and quality.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet service and production deadlines.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
• Assist in other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and culinary terminology.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma or degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Line Cook in a similar establishmen
