Senior Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across both our core Government Contracting business and our growing Playbook product line. This role owns the month-end close process and the balance sheet reconciliation book, oversees the accuracy of transactional accounting in close collaboration with the Staff Accountant, and takes point on invoicing and account management for our SaaS product customers — giving the right candidate exposure to both cost-reimbursable/T&M government contract accounting and recurring subscription billing. The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller and works closely with the Staff Accountant on day-to-day data entry and with the Financial Analyst to ensure project accounting and revenue recognition are entered accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Oversee all daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, and employee expense reports
• Work closely with the Staff Accountant to review postings for accounts payable, cash transactions, and accounts receivable
• Review postings for accuracy, proper coding, and timeliness
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations across both the GovCon services business and the Playbook product busines
