As our Execution Controlling Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting operational leaders with forecasting, resource planning and commercial insight. You'll partner closely with stakeholders across the business to understand future demand, optimise resource utilisation and provide the financial analysis that enables informed decision making.

The base range of this role, at the time of posting, is estimated to be the following should this role be filled in the respective country:

Italy: €50,250 - €73,700 (Compensation will be aligned with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement, namely the CBA , Metalmeccanico Industria)

Lithuania: €53,250 - €78,100

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Partner with operational leaders to develop and manage monthly workload and forecast planning, ensuring resource demand and utilisation are accurately reflected.

  • Provide meaningful financial insight by analysing business performance, identifying trends, and highlighting risks and opportunities.

  • Support budget, forecast and cost centre management, helping stakeholders understand financial performance and key variances.

  • Lead workload and headcount analysis, ensuring operational teams have the information they need to make effective resource decisions.

  • Deliver monthly performance reporting, scorecards and management presentations for senior leadership reviews.

  • Coordinate the annual operating plan and budgeting process.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, forecasting and finance processes.

  • Explore opportunities to leverage technology and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency, automation and decision making within the finance function.

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of two finance professionals, helping them build technical capability and progress their careers.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who combines strong financial expertise with genuine curiosity about how a business operates. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, building credibility with senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge when required.

You'll likely bring:

  • Significant experience in finance, financial planning, commercial finance or finance business partnering roles.

  • Previous leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing others.

  • Experience within a project-based business environment, with a strong understanding of project accounting principles and the financial dynamics of project delivery organisations.

  • Strong forecasting, planning and analytical skills.

  • The confidence to challenge stakeholders and influence decisions through data-driven insights.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A naturally curious mindset with a desire to understand the wider business.

  • Experience identifying process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.

  • An interest in emerging technologies, automation and AI within finance would be highly advantageous.
