Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Assessment & Intervention Team at Wrexham.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will work with children and families requiring assessment, support, and intervention to ensure children remain safe and achieve positive outcomes.

As part of a supportive team, you will undertake assessments, formulate plans, and work directly with children and families to reduce risks and improve family functioning. The service is committed to delivering high-quality interventions and providing strong management support to practitioners.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Complete Child & Family Assessments and provide timely interventions for children in need.
• Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection, and pre-proceedings plans.
• Undertake Section 47 enquiries and risk assessments where appropriate.
• Develop and review plans to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and multi-agency professionals.
• Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, conferences, core groups, and court proceedings when required.&l
