Born in 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas, Standard Meat has grown into a trusted global meat supplier, providing custom meat processing, portioning, cooking, and packaging solutions for leading foodservice brands, retail and e-commerce partners, and meal-kit companies. The Rosenthal family name behind Standard Meat is closely tied to the Rosenthal Meat Science and Technology Center at Texas A&M University, named for Manny Rosenthal, class of '42, whose father founded Standard Meat. The Center is a leading research institution in food safety, beef quality assurance, and meat science education, and many of our executives and managers hold advanced degrees in meat science from Texas A&M.
Today, we operate multiple plants across the DFW Metroplex, remaining dedicated to our Texas roots and to the growth of our community.
